[Global Epic, Reporter Lee Su-hwan] Household goods manufacturer 'Sauber' signed a technical agreement with Eurotab, Europe's largest tablet production company based in France, and invested approximately 6 billion won in the first phase of a major facility expansion for the production of high-quality dishwasher detergent. The company announced plans for a second round of investment for additional facility expansion in the second half of next year.
Eurotab is a company with over 60 years of history, pursuing the ideology of developing efficient and convenient products for a better planet. It is a European manufacturer specializing in producing tablets including dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, dehumidifiers, and bleach.
The manufacturing facilities expanded by 'Sauber' through the technical agreement with Eurotab are configured with mixing, pressing, and packaging equipment with the same specifications as world-class European local facilities, and represent the latest and largest-scale facilities in Europe capable of producing high-quality products.
The mixing facility is a German system that meets the demanding requirements of EHEDG (European Engineering and Design Group), featuring stable mixing and patented technology for perfect residue-free discharge. The pressing facility has the technological capability of high-level production equipment with fast production speeds that can compress tablets with high compressive strength and produce 1,500 tablets per minute.
Additionally, the packaging facility incorporates packaging machines from a German company with over 100 years of history, capable of packaging 1,500 tablets per minute, and is configured as a multi-facility capable of both water-soluble film packaging and pillow-type packaging.
A Sauber official stated, "'Sauber' has equipped itself with the finest technology and the latest facilities for the production of eco-friendly, high-quality dishwasher detergent, and employees will take pride and do their best in every step of the production process." They added, "We plan to continue launching eco-friendly products that are convenient for daily use and reduce carbon emissions by minimizing plastic waste, developing various tablet products including laundry detergent, kitchen detergent, and dehumidifiers, in addition to dishwasher detergent."
