[News Article] Eco-Friendly Tablet Detergent Specialist 'Sauber' Introduces Capsule-Type Liquid Laundry Detergent Production Facilities

Household hygiene products specialist 'Sauber Co., Ltd.' announced that it has completed the introduction of ultra-concentrated capsule-type liquid detergent production facilities based on customized automated equipment.
Recently, following the introduction of high-quality dishwasher tablet production facilities earlier this year, Sauber has been solidifying its position as a household hygiene products specialist in eco-friendly tablets and other products, based on stable production utilization rates and quality maintenance.
According to a Sauber official, the company is focusing on diversifying its living category business starting with capsule laundry detergent production, working toward early market establishment through collaboration with various domestic companies. Sauber's customized production facilities can quickly and stably produce 1-chamber and 3-chamber type all-in-one ultra-concentrated capsule detergents, and because function-specific, multi-purpose customized production is possible, the company can produce products that meet the diverse needs of its clients.
Sauber's capsule detergent was developed with the goal of creating eco-friendly products in line with the social trend of protecting a sustainable environment. In particular, the capsule product, which uses high-quality 'biodegradable water-soluble film,' was developed to dissolve easily even in cold water, leaving no residue.
Furthermore, despite the burden of rising costs, the application of premium water-soluble PVA film was focused on supplying products of stable quality, designed with durability that does not burst easily under high pressure, with an emphasis on preventing child safety accidents and ensuring quality stability.
Sauber Co., Ltd. CEO Kang Min-gu stated, "We evaluate the tablet and capsule detergent market with consumer convenience at its core, and standards are rising as consumers' concerns about household products combine with their desire to consider the environment. We will diversify our tablet business so that consumers can enjoy both a 'Convenium (convenience + premium) Life' and an 'Eco-friendly Life' that reduces carbon emissions through minimizing plastic use."
Sauber's 'Everyday Dishwasher Detergent' tablet, launched in October this year, is a vegan-certified product—an all-in-one detergent with rinse aid in an easy-to-measure 10g size. Formulated specifically for Korean eating habits, it contains twice the enzyme ingredients compared to the company's previous products for effective breakdown of rice residue and grease, resulting in enhanced cleaning power.
Sauber, which holds a domestic patent for 'dishwasher detergent tablet' technology, plans to additionally introduce tablet products across various living categories including dishwasher, laundry detergent, and multi-purpose detergent.
Meanwhile, Sauber Co., Ltd. has currently established a monthly production capacity of approximately 22 million tablet detergents, and plans to expand and build tablet and capsule-type liquid detergent facilities through the construction of a third factory within 2023.
