Sauber Co., Ltd., a professional household hygiene products manufacturer, announced that it has been selected as a '2023 Chungcheongnam-do Excellent Company for Employment of Persons with Disabilities.'

An official explained, "Sauber Co., Ltd. was selected on October 31 as an excellent company for employment of persons with disabilities by Chungcheongnam-do. The Excellent Company for Employment of Persons with Disabilities is a system that selects companies and institutions that play a leading role in hiring people with disabilities by fostering an inclusive corporate culture. To be selected, a company must exceed the 3.1% permanent employment rate for persons with disabilities or create disability-friendly working conditions and environments. Sauber received high evaluations in categories including management soundness, employment status, and employment environment."

The official continued, "Since its incorporation in 2014, Sauber has been solidifying its position as a domestic household hygiene products manufacturer through continuous technological innovation in areas such as safety-certified household chemical products, quasi-drugs, and hygiene products." They added, "Beyond technological innovation, as part of ESG management, the company has been certified and operating as a Standard Workplace for Persons with Disabilities since 2020, creating social value through job creation and job development and expansion for people with disabilities."

They further stated, "The company continues to grow its quality technology capabilities and corporate scale through ISO 9001 quality management certification, MOU agreements with global companies, and patent applications, while also making continuous efforts to create disability-friendly working environments along with employment expansion. The company provides amenities such as dedicated restrooms and parking spaces for persons with disabilities, a company cafeteria, and commuter bus service (priority boarding for employees with disabilities), ensuring a stable working environment."

Sauber CEO Kang Min-gu said, "Under the mission that Sauber is a company creating healthier tomorrows, we are creating opportunities for people with and without disabilities to work and grow together." He added, "We will continue to make ongoing efforts to provide quality working environments through the expansion of jobs for persons with disabilities and job development."
