Eco-friendly household hygiene products company Sauber announced on the 30th that it completed construction of its third factory equipped with Korea's largest capsule detergent production line in January. With this expansion, Sauber has secured stable production infrastructure and embarked on strengthening its competitiveness in the global market. These developments were highlighted through the TJB broadcast 'DNA of Legacy Companies.'
Sauber has established itself as a household hygiene products production base by manufacturing products for major domestic distributors and brands, and passing quality audits from global companies. Since 2022, the company has enhanced its technological competitiveness by collaborating with France's Eurotab to develop and produce dishwasher detergent tablets.
Through the third factory completed this year, Sauber has established the foundation to simultaneously achieve customized product development and large-scale mass production. The company plans to accelerate its expansion into overseas markets including North America and Oceania, beyond Asia.
CEO Kang Min-gu solidified his startup idea through market research in Germany and grew the company to hundreds of billions of won in annual revenue in a short period through bold investment and execution. Since 2020, he has operated a Standard Workplace for Persons with Disabilities, being selected as an 'Excellent Company for Employment of Persons with Disabilities' in 2023, continuing inclusive ESG management. During the COVID-19 period, the company also carried out social responsibility activities by donating quarantine supplies and laundry detergent to vulnerable populations.
In organizational operations, leaders in their 30s and 40s form the backbone, fostering a horizontal, performance-oriented culture and creating an environment where young and creative talent can grow.
CEO Kang stated on the broadcast, "We will continue to present competitive products in the global market," adding, "Our goal is to leap forward as the global No. 1 OEM/ODM company in the tablet and capsule detergent field."
The broadcast was partially aired live on the 29th and is scheduled to be programmed as a 20-minute documentary in November.
