ESG, Eco-Friendly, and Global Strategy Introduced Through TJB 'DNA of Legacy Companies'
Eco-friendly household hygiene products company Sauber completed its third factory in January this year. With this expansion, Sauber has secured Korea's largest capsule detergent production capacity, enabling both stable production infrastructure and global market expansion. These achievements were introduced through the TJB program 'DNA of Legacy Companies.'
Sauber has built trust by manufacturing products for major domestic distributors and brands, and has established itself as a domestic household hygiene products production base by passing demanding quality audits from global companies. Since 2022, the company has strengthened its global technological competitiveness by partnering with France's Eurotab to develop and produce dishwasher detergent tablets.
In particular, the third factory completed this year is the largest capsule detergent production line in Korea, establishing a system capable of simultaneously performing customized product development and large-scale mass production. Sauber plans to accelerate its expansion into overseas markets including North America and Oceania, beyond Asia.
Sauber's growth is underpinned by CEO Kang Min-gu's young leadership and ESG management. CEO Kang solidified his startup idea based on on-site market research experience in Germany and grew the company to hundreds of billions of won in annual revenue in a short period through bold investment and execution.
The company has not overlooked social responsibility in its growth process. It has operated a Standard Workplace for Persons with Disabilities since 2020 and was selected as an 'Excellent Company for Employment of Persons with Disabilities' in 2023. During the COVID-19 period, it practiced ESG management by consistently donating quarantine supplies and laundry detergent to vulnerable populations.
The organizational culture is also characterized by horizontal and dynamic features. Leaders in their 30s and 40s form the backbone, establishing a performance-oriented operational system and creating an environment where young and creative talent can grow quickly.
CEO Kang Min-gu stated on the broadcast, "We will continue to present competitive products in both domestic and international markets," adding, "Our goal is to grow into the global No. 1 OEM/ODM company in the tablet and capsule detergent field."
The broadcast was partially aired live on September 29 and is scheduled to be broadcast as a 20-minute documentary in November.
